Policies and Fees

Whether planning a festive celebration, an elegant wedding, an important corporate event or simply entertaining at home, we have earned a reputation for unparalleled taste, service and style. We combine deliciously distinctive food with beautiful presentation to create events that are a work of art.

From traditional fare to the latest global trends, we prepare delightful cuisine that appeals to every palate.  It is virtually impossible to include every item that we create in one menu. The menus featured are just a sampling of the culinary delights we can prepare.  Each changing season brings us exciting ingredients that are transformed into fresh, new menu ideas.  We take pleasure in working directly with our clients to develop the perfect menu for every affair. No matter what the occasion, A Taste of the Wasatch will delight your senses.

Booking and Cancellation Policy

In order to provide you with the highest quality of food and service, advance notice of your affair is required. To reserve a specific date for your event, a 50% deposit is required. We understand that changes and cancellations may be unavoidable. Notification is required one week prior to the function or the entire deposit will be forfeited. A maximum forfeiture fee of 10% will be charged if cancellation occurs within 30 days of your affair. A guaranteed number of attendees is required 72 hours prior to your function.

Payment in full is required upon delivery. For corporate billing, payment is due within 14 days or 1.8% per month interest will be charged.

Event Planning

Beyond our distinctive food, we will help to create the perfect event by assisting with all aspects of planning.  From designers to venue selection, we have the extensive industry knowledge, organization, and above all, experience to ensure a notable event.  Please Contact Us for more information.  

Delivery and Set-up Fee

A minimum of 15.00 will be added for “one way” delivery. The actual cost will vary based on location and extent of set-up. Should it be necessary to pickup any equipment etc., a “round-trip” fee will be charged. Gratuity is not charged in addition to our delivery fee, but is always appreciated. We will let you know your specific fee prior to delivery.

Paper Goods, China, Linen and Equipment

We charge a nominal fee for paper goods. Only premium quality paper and plastic goods are utilized. Should you require china, linen or any other equipment, we will be happy to make arrangements. Our fee for these arrangements is 20.00 or 10% of the cost of the rental, whichever is greater.

Service Personnel

For all full service events, we require a Banquet Captain to oversee staff and ensure the coordination of a successful event. Our charge for Banquet Captains is $30.00 per hour.

Our Professional Servers are available for 20.00 per hour.  Dishwashers, when necessary, are 15.00 per hour.

Should your affair call for Bar Service we will be happy to provide TIPS trained Bartenders for $30.00 per hour as well as Wine and Cocktail Servers for $20.00 per hour.

In most instances our food will be prepared in our Board of Health approved commercial kitchen and brought fully prepared to your affair. In this case, chefs are included in the price of the food. There are however, some instances where an On Site Chef is required. i.e., Full Service Pasta Bar and Carving Stations.  In these cases, the charge for our Chefs is 30.00 per hour.

For all affairs requiring Service Personnel, a four (4) hour minimum will be charged. We will of course, do our best to approximate the amount of time that our servers will be utilized. However, since many variables exist, we can not guarantee these costs. In addition, a 17% Gratuity will be added to all food charges.
